ELAINE CAMERON-WEIR

Elaine Cameron-Weir is a Canadian artist based in New York. Her work is informed by the systems of belief and power humans have created to deal with the unknown. Her recent solo museum exhibitions include “Dressing for Windows (Exploded View),” SCAD Museum of Art, Savannah, Georgia (2022), and “STAR CLUB REDEMPTION BOOTH,” Henry Art Gallery, Seattle (2021). Her work has also been featured in major group exhibitions such as the Fifty-Ninth Venice Biennale (2022) and “New Time: Art and Feminisms in the 21st Century,” University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (2021).
